Your privacy is fundamental to our engineering architecture. ImgNow is built as a zero-server upload platform where your images are processed strictly inside your browser.

1. Zero-Server Image Processing Architecture

When you select or drop a file into ImgNow (e.g., to compress, crop, resize, convert, or pixelate), your browser uses WebAssembly, HTML5 Canvas, and client JavaScript APIs to process the media in local device RAM.

At no point during file selection, editing, or downloading are your original or output image bytes transmitted to an external server. Once you close or reload your browser tab, all temporary memory allocations are instantly cleared.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

  • No Image Content: We do not store, copy, analyze, or archive any image file contents or EXIF metadata.
  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not require account registration, full names, email addresses, phone numbers, or billing info to use any core tools.
  • No Face Biometrics: Tools such as Blur Face or Pixelate Image run locally. We do not extract or retain biometric face geometry.

3. Browser Storage & Local Preferences

ImgNow utilizes standard browser localStorage solely to remember your UI preferences, such as:

  • Selected interface language (e.g., en, es, ja)
  • Tool settings (e.g., default pixelation brush radius or compression quality ratio)

You can clear this storage at any time via your browser settings without affecting tool functionality.

4. Analytics & Diagnostics

To monitor system uptime and optimize performance across different browser engines, we may collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable metrics (such as page view counts, browser type, device category, and language preference). This data is completely anonymized and cannot be linked back to individual users.

5. Your Rights Under GDPR & CCPA

Because ImgNow does not harvest or retain personal data on servers, your rights under EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) are inherently respected:

Right to Access & DeleteSince all files reside strictly on your device, deleting your browser cache or clearing local storage instantly removes all local data.
Zero Data SalesWe do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize personal data or media files under any circumstance.
